Don Anderson Media is a partnership, the principal partner being Don Anderson. After university, Don trained originally as a daily newspaper sub-editor in Belfast, where he learnt the basics of general journalism, typography and layout.

He joined the BBC in Belfast as a broadcast journalist just as the 'Troubles' were breaking out and saw some of the worst years of violence. Moving to BBC London as a national and international television news reporter, he reported from many parts of the world, from the Vietnam War, Middle East tensions to famine in Timbuktu.

He left the BBC to become the programme controller of Northern Ireland's first commercial radio station and then rejoined BBC as head of radio and deputy head of programmes in Northern Ireland.

From there he entered the realm of broadcast regulation, leaving to form his own media and web company in the 1990s.
